The performance “cisza / тиша / silence” explores ritual as a structure of presence and absence, where audience participation is shaped by individual choice. The spectator’s position becomes part of the performance, creating a tension between engagement and detachment. Artist creates a space for different interpretations and reflects shifting relations between private and public, active and passive, observer and observed. Everyday objects form a symbolic system rooted in European folk beliefs and cultural associations. Their significance shifts according to context, linguistic forms, and cultural background, allowing the artist to consider how the same objects can be understood differently by diverse audiences.

The project is a part of an ongoing research of the body as an architectural form and ritual as a spatial system, where interaction between material, presence, and choice becomes a testimony.
