Alka Nauman is an interdisciplinary artist, choreographer, dancer, antifascist and writer working at the intersection of performing arts, visual arts and experimental education. She holds a degree in Choreography from London Contemporary Dance School and a degree in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Warsaw. She is a recipient of the City of Warsaw Artistic Scholarship (2025) and participated in the PEER Programme at Studio Wayne McGregor in London (2020–2022).

She creates performances, video installations and research-based artistic projects, and leads poetry and choreography workshops. She believes that dance and choreography can provide tools for fostering grassroots, inclusive social change, with the body as the primary source of knowledge. She is interested in creating artistic processes in which what is risky and bold emerges from a sense of humour and strangeness.
