Culture and Art Centre in Wroclaw

The Culture and Art Centre in Wrocław (OKiS) is a Cultural Institution of the Self-Government of Lower Silesia Region established in 1973. The main tasks of the Centre are to co-create the cultural identity of Lower Silesia, integrate the creative circles of the border region and promote art in all its aspects and forms. Through a wide range of promotional and organisational activities, OKiS supports and enriches the cultural landscape of the Lower Silesia region, cultivating its rich history, heritage and tradition.

The Grotowski Institute  is a municipal arts institution committed to documenting and disseminating knowledge about Jerzy Grotowski and his Laboratory Theatre as well as hosting events corresponding to the ideas laid down by Grotowski’s creative practice.
