The performance invites questions about what comes after a state of divine purity or idealized existence and how beings or entities change as they evolve beyond their original roles. Postangelic being have outgrown their angelic nature, due to an apocalypse, evolution, divine transition or trauma. Instead of serving as protector they are gaining new roles, powers, or goals that are more complex. The figure of angel is not a traditional angelic form, but a guiding force, a transformative presence, born to disrupt narratives of divinity and identity. It is monstrous but not evil. It refuse to conform. This being emerged from personal trauma, fused with the profoundly human longing for meaning and transformation.
In its rupture, this entity invites you to imagine new mythologies, new ethics, and new ways of being, exploring new forms of love that are tender, monstrous, and alive with contradiction, even hate.
It is a study in monstrous becoming.
The tearing apart is not destruction but metamorphosis. The being asks:
What must we shed in order to become more fully ourselves?
What lies beyond the narratives we were given?
