Dariusz Fodczuk (b. 1966) is a visual artist, performer and educator. He graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the University of the Arts in Poznań. He works at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, where he co-runs the Audiovisual and Performance Practices Studio. From 2020 to 2024, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Media Art, Photography and Experimental Film.

He works with performance, sculpture, installation, kinetic objects and video. His practice explores the status of art and the relationships between the artist, the audience and the artwork. He is interested in processes of communication, collaboration and collective experience, as well as memory, family relationships, competition and various forms of symbolic struggle. His work often relies on interaction, participation and co-presence.

Since 2023, together with his mother, Albina Fodczuk, he has been developing the performance series Conversation with Son, in dialogue with Zbigniew Warpechowski’s work of the same title. His works have been presented in more than 200 group exhibitions and festivals, as well as in over 40 solo exhibitions and presentations across Europe, North America and Asia.
