Liliana Zeic (b. 1988), is a visual artist and holds a PhD in fine arts. Her artistic practice is rooted in queer feminism and queer ecology. She works across craft, video, photography, objects and text, creating interdisciplinary and performative projects based on artistic research. Since 2020, she has increasingly focused on craft-based methods, particularly developing her own woodworking technique inspired by marquetry.
Her work has been presented in more than 160 group and solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad and is held in public collections, including Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, Wrocław Contemporary Museum, Arsenał Municipal Gallery, NOMUS and the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź. She is represented by lokal_30 gallery.
She lives in Warsaw and works at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, in the Department of Art Mediation. She has been working under the name Zeic since February 2021.
