Lucia Gregorová Stach, PhD, is a Slovak art historian, curator, and researcher specialising in modern and contemporary art, with a particular focus on the neo-avant-gardes of Central and Eastern Europe, performance, conceptual art and exhibition histories. Between 2010 and 2025, she held senior curatorial positions at the Slovak National Gallery. Her curatorial work includes retrospective and thematic exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad, among them the Jana Želibská project for the Czech and Slovak Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017 and the long-term exhibition MODEL: Museum of Contemporary Art at the Slovak National Gallery in 2024. She has published on post-war and contemporary art, including a monograph on Stano Filko, published in Bratislava in 2018 and in a condensed English

edition in London in 2023. She currently teaches at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica and works as a researcher at the Institute of Art History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. She lives in Bratislava.
